SURGEON
I have worked as a surgeon in Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery (ORLHNS/ ENT) for more than 15 years and have extensive experience in Head & Neck Surgery, Paediatric and General ENT.

In 1996 I became the first mother to be admitted to surgical training. After 2 years of General Surgery I was accepted into the Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery (ORLHNS/ ENT) training program and obtained my RACS fellowship in 2002. I spent a further 3 years specialising in Head & Neck Cancer here and in France, developing skills in transoral laser surgery, airway surgery, thyroid surgery, and other Head & Neck surgery.

I started at Monash Health in 2006. In addition to my head & neck cancer work I am one of the services most prolific paediatric ENT surgeons. I filled the roles of Surgical Supervisor of Training and Executive Director of ORLHNS Unit at Monash Health from 2007 to 2013 and am currently a member of the National ASOHNS Training Board, a Senior Lecturer in Monash University’s Department of Surgery and a member of the Women in Medicine committee.
